These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any inquiries or estimate requests you submit. By browsing our website, reading our articles on Lot Clearing Tips, or submitting your contact details, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity) and Charlotte Land Clearing ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Website Content & Informational Disclaimer
The information provided on this website—including guides, cost per acre estimates, permit overviews, equipment descriptions, and project photos—is published for general informational and educational purposes only.
Every tract of land possesses unique topography, soil composition, tree densities, and municipal zoning ordinances. Content on this site does not constitute formal engineering, architectural, or legal surveying advice. Formal pricing, timelines, and machine specifications are established only through an executed written contract following an on-site physical evaluation.
3. Estimate Requests & Communication Consent
When you submit a project inquiry or request an estimate through our online forms:
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information regarding your name, phone number, email address, and property location.
- Consent to Contact: You expressly authorize Charlotte Land Clearing and our field operators to contact you via telephone call, text message (SMS), and email to discuss your property clearing requirements, schedule walkthrough appointments, and send written proposals. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP."
- Non-Monetization Guarantee: In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we will never sell, lease, or rent your contact details to external marketing agencies or third-party lead brokers.
4. Property Ownership & Site Access Representation
By requesting an estimate or site visit, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the lawful deeded property owner, or you have received written authorization from the deeded owner to request estimates and permit physical entry onto the land.
- You have the legal authority to authorize heavy machinery entry, inspection, and clearing within the stated boundaries.
- You will disclose all known property boundary lines, easements, buried private utilities, septic drain fields, and environmental restrictions prior to the commencement of machine operations.
5. Service Execution & Independent Contracts
Submitting an online estimate request does not create a binding service contract. All physical tree clearing, forestry mulching, underbrush grinding, and excavation services are governed by a separate, formal written Work Agreement executed between Charlotte Land Clearing and the property owner. That Work Agreement will outline:
- Detailed scope of work and preservation flags for keeper trees.
- Total contracted cost, payment milestones, and change order procedures.
- Mandatory 811 underground utility locate confirmations prior to breaking ground.
- Inclement weather and saturated ground delay protocols to protect soil against rutting.
- Certificates of commercial general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
